Currently based in Chicago, IL, Justin Curry (he/him) is an emerging dancer, choreographer ,filmmaker, and educator with a BFA in Dance from Sam Houston State University. His professional performance experience includes work with NobleMotion Dance Company, WhirlWind Dance Company, Sam Houston State University Dance, and five national tours performing with Drum Corps International and Winter Guard International. He is currently dancing for Niko8 Dance Company.

Justin’s choreographic work has been presented across the U.S. and internationally, with commissions and screenings through Detroit Metropolitan Dance (formerly Eisenhower Dance Detroit), St Louis Dance Center (formerly Big Muddy Dance Company), Dance On Camera Festival (NYC), SALT Dance Company, Dance Film Association, Auro Apaar Dance Film Festival (India), Austin Dance Festival, Dance City Festival Chicago, Dance Source Houston, Detroit Dance City Festival, Jacksonville Dance Film Festival, and many more.

He has performed in works by acclaimed choreographers such as Joshua Manculich, Norbert De La Cruz III, Hanna Brictson, Gregory Dolbashian, Francisco Graciano, Takehiro Ueyama, Andy Noble, Evelyn Toh, Alyssa Edwards, and others.

In addition to his dance career, Justin is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Olympic Weightlifting Coach, which informs his approach to movement through a deepened understanding of anatomy, conditioning, and holistic movement practices. His work exists at the intersection of performance, physicality, and queer identity; committed to creating inclusive, embodied, and emotionally driven art.
